Python User Group: PyMC3 for Probabilistic Programming

September 22, 2020
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
America/New_York
Online
Bayesian statistical modeling is a powerful tool for quantifying uncertainties in probabilistic machine learning. This Python User Group workshop will introduce Bayesian statistical modeling using PyMC3, a python package built on the Theano machine learning library. Models will be visualized and verified with ArviZ, a python library for exploratory analysis of Bayesian models. This online session will be led by Roger Creel, a geophysics PhD candidate at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Please register in advance to receive the Zoom information by email.
